This is a European release mainly in Germany and Holland. Contains nothing special really and as far as I can see it is an advert of what is already released. 5 Inch DVD made to look like a regular 45 vinyl release It is a novelty DVD though and I suppose as it’s official, worth having in any Abba collection.

The much publicised and well received Abba release of 2004 Abba In Concert Totally remastered in Dolby digital 5.1 surround sound and with unseen BONUS items - Not a lot but very welcome by fans. The Way Old Friends Do - I Have A Dream - Thank You For The Music All taken from the 1979/80 concert tours. There are also interviews with the director and promoter. I was sceptical about this and thought “who cares?” and “why these people?”, why no interviews with Abba???? I guess they were “too busy” |

Abba Gold CD and DVD re re re re re re issue How many times Universal can repackage and re release this album I don’t know. This CD/DVD release was limited to 2000 copies, the album then reverted to just the music cd for it’s remainder of it’s stay in the charts. Absolutely nothing special about this release except the track The Name Of The Game is missing from the DVD. Still it managed to get the album back into the UK charts peaking at number 5 and now stated to be the third best selling album of all time in the UK spending some 435 weeks in the charts or something like that. |
